I grew up with dogs (a yellow lab as a child and wheaten terrier through high school and college) and often sat for neighbors' dogs when they were away. I haven't had the time or the resources to have a dog for the past few years since I have been in college and getting settled after my graduation. I am excited to start dog sitting and dog walking so that I can connect with new pets and pet owners! I have experience walking and caring for dogs, and have proven myself to be able to handle a variety of issues, from accidents in the house, to anti-social behavior, to doggy illnesses. When I was younger, I used to dog sit for neighbors and have experience caring for multiple dogs at a time. I have always been really attentive to making sure the routine of the dog is disrupted as little as possible. If your dog needs his/her food a certain way, likes to take a certain walk route, or has any other specific needs, I will do my absolute best to maintain consistency. If you choose me to stay with your pet, take him/her on walks or just keep them company, I will provide them with lots of love and attention, and will send you updates and photos! However, because of my current living situation, I cannot have pets stay at my home. I am more than willing to spend time (even nights) at your home, and can assure you I will take good care of your dog and home while you are gone. I am a current doctoral student in the sociology department at UCLA. I have a very flexible work schedule that allows me to dog sit most days of the week. I have a high attention to detail, quality, and follow through, and I definitely will not let you down!
