Hi, I'm Caelynn, and I can't wait to meet you and your pet family! Animals are my passion and my background. I have a bachelor's degree in Animal Science and a Masters in Learning/Behavior from Rutgers University, and over 17 years experience caring for and training every kind of pet from dogs and cats to birds, reptiles, and fish! I also have experience with rabbits, chinchillas, guinea pigs, and ferrets, and am happy to provide the special care needed all of your best friends. I've been fostering dogs of all breeds since 2011. I've also been certified in dog grooming as well as pet CPR and first aid. I'm comfortable giving medications of all types and meeting different diet needs. I currently share my home with three dogs, two cats and two guinea pigs, and have a tropical aquarium. Feel free to ask any questions - I am always happy to meet in advance before you choose me to care for your pets, and can't wait to get to know them!

I’m so happy I found Caelynn! I had a last minute need for drop in visits, she was very flexible to talk, cared about the details and was able to accept my request. She came to my house while we were traveling and followed all the instructions, also sent photos and shared how my dog was doing every day, which made me feel better! Anything you can share about your dog is helpful for me to have a fun, safe time with them! I would like to know their food allergies, if they are allowed to have treats, and any commands they know. I would also like to know if there is anything you are working on (or would like to work on) so I am able to be consistent with your routine. Please also let me know if they have any troublesome behaviors on leash (like barking at other dogs on a walk). I'm happy to work on this with them during our walks.
A typical day
Just like us, pets need to exercise their body and their mind! I’ll cater to their needs and your requests. I can provide activities such as walks or a good game of fetch, but we can also work on training, try out one of my many puzzle toys, or teach them a new trick!

Availability
I currently work from home half of each week, as well as being available mornings, evenings and weekends. Depending on your location, I can provide lunchtime visits as well! I'm happy to help with exercise and basic training, potty breaks or long walks, and everything else your family members might need. If you would like to board your dog at my home, we would need to first meet during a dog walk or drop in visit, and then would need your dog to come over for a meet and greet with our resident pets!
