Hello! I'm Cabrina and I run Chewbarka's Woofie Pack. There has never been a time in my life that I havent had a dog by my side. Animals have always been my passion and canine handling and behavior is one of my most vetted interests. I've always wanted to own every breed of dog but figured the more realistic thing to do is run a dog care business to spread my love and knowledge to fellow dog owners and their doggos! And so Chewbarka's was created! Because of my expertise and calm assertive energy all of our doggy guests look to me as top dog. This creates a feeling of trust with all of our pawesome clients as they naturally follow me. Nothing brings me greater joy than harnessing the power of the pack to bring out the playful spirit in even the most timid of dogs. I have worked with dogs of all sizes and vast temperaments and have not encountered a single one that has not grown extremely fond and trusting of me. I believe that owning a pet is a beautiful journey of continuous growth and learning how to coexist with loyal loving creatures that enriches your life beyond all words and I hope to be invited along on that journey with you! Luna(my dog) always had so much fun during her stays with Cabrina. The videos i got during the day helped when i missed my puppy and showed Luna having so much fun. Luna got to play with other dogs and always came home ready for a nap. Great experience!
Cabrina cared for our Chocolate Lab & Maltese for 2 weeks while my family & I were on holiday in 2018. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for an alternative to traditional “boarding”. Our dogs were on vacation in her care, in her home. Her knowledge & handling is personalized and she genuinely loves dogs. In the past when we boarded our dogs they would come home stressed out & it took days for them to relax. This time our dogs were so chill and not stressed out at all. Cabrina is amazing! I have an 8 year old shih tzu Roxy and a 4 year old Jack Russel terrier Jax. Both dogs are exact opposites but she appealed highly to both of them and they LOVE her. My terrier always tries to rush out the front door with me and she showed me amazing tips and tricks to keep him on his boundary/bed so that I can leave my home in peace! My shih tzu is older and laid back but she plays like a puppy with Cabrina! Both of my dogs are noticeably happier after going on walks and playing with Cabrina. She goes above and beyond with my dogs and spends quality time working with both of them. I couldnt leave them with anyone else when i leave town and I know they wouldnt have it any other way!
I have had Cabrina walk my 2 huskies for the past year now, my dogs need longer walks and interactive play multiple times a week, and with my constantly changing work schedule it was almost impossible for me to find consistent and convenient doggy care. Cabrina is all of that and more, beyond walking and playing I have noticed considerable behavioural changes for the better, my boys have developed better manners and have incredible security around new dogs! bonus! 12/10 would suggest Cabrina for all your doggy walking needs!!!!

I have a large fenced yard filled with gravel to keep mud and dirt under control and 5 different doggy friends for any energy level of dog to play with or just keep the company of. I do utilize crates when I cannot be fully present with the dogs or if I have to leave the house for any reason.

I am very aware that every dog has it's own individual needs, temperament, and personality and I trust noone better than you to give me every detail you think I will need to know to best serve you and your pets and help you feel at ease. Shy? Alert? Rambunctious? Attention seeking? Laid back? Afraid of thunderstorms? Any allergies, sensitivities, or medications. I would also like to know their usual routine and your training style as well. My family and your pets safety and happiness are my first and foremost concern. Any guests I welcome into my home must be potty trained, have good temperament, be good with children and other dogs, have basic training, and comfortability in a crate is a plus. I love ALL dogs so there are no breed restrictions. I do require a meet and greet with you and your pup so I can address any and all concerns you have and also to get to know your dogs energy level, tempermant and behaviors. Making sure my home is a good fit for your pup is a top priority.
A typical day
I live in conveniently located area with vast amounts of dog parks, trails and recreational areas and you can be assured me and my dogs have sniffed out the best spots! Daily walks and romps are a must in this household! I have a large repertoire of enriching games that every dog learns to absolutely crave! Relationship and trust building is my first priority with every dog I encounter and every game we play will bring us closer and closer. Your pup will be tuckered out by the end of everyday!
