Pet care experience
I’ve had multiple pets at home for my whole life, and for years have had multiple dogs. I have experience caring for small and large dogs, and have been a petsitter for friends and family since age 13. In my life I have cared for both puppies and elderly dogs as well. I recently moved away from my family dogs, but I am a huge dog lover and new to Brooklyn, looking to explore and share the pet love I have to give! I can run with your dog if you like, and if you have other animals at home that need care (like a fish or a cat) I’m willing to accommodate that! I can also handle multiple dogs at once if you have more than one.

C has been taking care of our dogs for the past several years. She is a true dog lover and is passionate about dogs of all sizes. We have had a Ridge-back, Labrador, Whippet and Jackabee. All come with unique needs. C is nurturing but strong when encountering bad behavior. C has exercised our dogs in all types of weather - with coats on in the snow and with extra water in warmer weather. She knows to read signals from other dogs and to cross the street to avoid an encounter with an unfriendly pet. She also knows when to take a trip to Lowes, PetSmart or other dog friendly places when the weather just isnt cooperating. I give C my highest recommendation.

I like to know a dog’s demeanor so I can approach them with my best paw forward. Not every dog is the same and they each need special care! And of course, any dietary, medical or other needs your dog has are good to know, even if I’m just taking them for a walk.
A typical day
I like to find a green space to take a dog, whether that’s a park or a parkway lined with trees and grass. I can run with your dog if they need the exercise, and also love to play fetch if they have a favorite ball to bring on a walk. I always have a pocketful of treats if your dog needs a little motivation!
