Pet care experience
I have been in pet care over 10 years.- volunteering and shelters, working in clinics, pet sitting, and I am currently a fourth year veterinary student. I have worked with many types of animals, such as dogs, cats, sheep, goats, cows, horses, and fish. I love to hike and be outdoors if your dog needs to get out for a day. I am currently not offering boarding or day care at my home, but I am available for house-sitting, drop/in visits, and dog walking at your home. I am pursuing a career in veterinary medicine so I pay close attention to animals health/needs and am understanding of any special accommodations for an animals.

I live in a gated apartment complex with plenty of grass and yard to take dogs in walks. In addition, there is a very nice park behind my apartment that I will take bigger dogs on longer walks if needed. We keep our home clean and clutter free so you don’t have to worry about your pet getting a hold of any thing they shouldn’t.

If they are aggressive towards other animals, any allergies they may have, medications to give, etc.. it is also nice to know if your pet has any separation anxiety for the times I do need to leave the apartment, and if so, are they destructive when they are left?
A typical day
All walks during the day are typically about 10-15 minutes. Morning and evening walks can be longer if the dog needs more exercise. Playtime can happen whenever the pet wants to play. I like to go hiking in the mountains behind my apartment and I have taken a few dogs on the trails with me, if owner allows.

Availability
I have two cats myself and so pet care is a normal part of my daily routine. When I book a pet through Rover I will make sure my schedule allows me to be with them for most of the stay and check in on them at least every 4 hours if I am busy with school or work.
