In 2021, my family got a bernadoodle named Maya, and because COVID-19 restrictions were still in effect, I was her sole caregiver and trainer for most, if not all, of my days for the first year of her life. During that time, I taught her over 18 tricks (e.g., sit, come, leave it, crawl) and developed a strong bond with her, so much so that I see her almost like a daughter now. However, I moved out of my family home this year so I spend less time with her and would love to care for other dogs and pets. I’ve also had a cat for 14 years and always took care of him emptying his litter, feeding him, petting him and of course offering to be kneaded like cats do. My family members and friends always come to me to housesit and petsit for their dogs, cats and small animals like hamsters, chinchillas, and hedgehogs. My friends call me “the dog whisperer” because most dogs seem to like me and I can train almost every dog I meet. I am super fun, caring, and considerate of pets’ personalities, as, like people, they are all different and like different things. I am energetic, am good at following orders and am not afraid to ask questions to ensure your pet is having the best time while staying safe. I am experienced in taking care of big dogs such as Labradors and Belgian Malinois as well as small dogs such as French Bulldogs.
