I am a professional certified Dog Trainer with years of experience. Your dog will be with the best. I only keep one pet per evening, so your pet will have my undivided caring attention. MISSION : to provide a caring, safe overnight or day stay in a very secure house with a high fenced yard. Your pet will be pampered and cared for like my own. Your pet will feel right at home, always having access to the outside with lots of space to run and play. The yard is very private and totally blocked from people walking by. MY QUALIFICATIONS : I am a KPA - DTP (Karen Pryor Dog Certified Dog Training Professional) and also a Behavior and Training apprentice / Canine Companion at the San Diego Humane Society. I have a lot of experience with all types of dogs, working with hundreds at our local shelter. I am currently working on my CCPDT dog training certification and a member of APDT (American Professional Dog Trainers). TRAINING METHODS : Positive Reinforcement means no pain, fear or intimidation to get results. As an additional add on service fee, I offer “Board & Train”. While your dog is staying with me either over night or for the day, I can spend up to two hours working on foundation training behaviors. I focus on positive reinforcement on what we want the dog to do, not what we want them to stop. My goal is for you to enjoy walking your dog again and have a calmer more attentive dog. She spends a few days a week surrounded by dozens of other dogs, and is super friendly. She is extremely social and will be your pets best friend in minutes.
