Loving, attentive, and high energy

Pet care experience

Growing up with dogs all my life they hold a special spot in my heart. I started pet sitting in middle school. Once in high school I began house sitting. Have experience in all breeds including fish, lizards, rodents, cats, and many breeds of dogs. Also experienced in caring for service, retired, adopted and sick dogs. I can’t wait to have more animals when I can give them the right home and care. I have my own Labrador named Koda and a therapy dog named Bear. I am a senior psychology major, focusing on clinical psychology and family dynamics. I train therapy dogs as part of an MSU club and enjoy that very much. I take pictures during visits and walks to send to owners. I also leave adorable report cards of what the doggo did along with a treat. I’m currently attending school online and work part time so being able to take care of your pets I am fairly flexible with my schedule. Every morning starts with a good morning cuddle session followed by a walk and breakfast. We play and give attention whenever my dogs do something extra cute. Evenings end in a swim, dinner and more cuddles. A tired dog is a happy dog

I do not recommend Brooklyn as a dog or house sitter. She did not take care of our dog based on the guidelines of the booking, and she did not communicate in a timely manner. Her lack of communication and responsibility caused significant stress, and we had to come home early from our trip because of it.

Outstanding! Attended to our dogs every need, Brooklyn won them over with her special treats and belly rubs. She is so attentive, and has a true passion for dogs. We can’t thank her enough and look forward to next time!

Brooklyn did an amazing job! She visited early with our dog and cats - she took great care of our house and animals! She spends lots of time with the animals and the house was left in perfect condition- we will be sure to hire her again anytime we leave town!

Information Brooklyn H. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your pet has any allergies or health conditions and their mental state. Do they like a lot of mental stimulation? How are they around other dogs? Safety is most important to me when caring for a loved one.

A typical day

When I first start meeting with a pet I like to walk and play with them in a familiar environment so I like to stay close to home once the dog starts to get more comfortable with me I like to take them to get new stimulation like new places to walk, new animals and new people. I live close to a lot of trails and open fields so I’d take them there if permitted. My car is equipped with dog safety figures including a dog hammock with seat belt harness attachments and toys.
