I’ve had a passion for animals since I was young. If I’m not working as a vet tech during the day, I’m either on a dog rescue mission, or loving someone else’s pet as my own. I’m not breed specific, I adore them all! I have 6+ years animal medicine experience working in a veterinary hospital. Before that I worked at a dog boarding/daycare facility for 2 years. I feel home sitting is better. Less stressful on your pet and safer. I’m from Nebraska and just moved to the sunshine state after accepting a job with Trupanion. I’m a territory partner associate (field rep) for 400 veterinary clinics in and around Tampa, helping veterinary clinics educate their clients on the benefits of having medical insurance for their beloved fur babies. I’m always finding new ways to help pets and their families! I’m also a veterinary technician for RSVP services, meaning I fill in at different veterinary clinics that need my assistance for the day! Luckily with both these positions I can set my own schedule, meaning I can be available as needed for your doggo! I wouldn’t mark available unless I know I’ll be around atleast 80% of the time. I have a goofy chocolate lab and an old lovable pittie mix of my own. I’ve never met a pet who doesn’t like me, nor me one I don’t like in return! Let’s face it: animals are just better than people. I live in a very nice gated community that has an on site dog park as well as beautiful seashells trails that go around the island along the bay for fun walks/jogs. Your pup can 100% look forward to those walks with me often to catch the sunset! My boy goose loves playing fetch, so if that’s what your pup likes to do Goose would love to take turns! And my old girl Brownie prefers to sleep on the couch all day and minds her own business. Ahh the life!! If your pup is nervous around new dogs I have gates and rooms to keep my kiddos separate so that yours can be comfortable. I know it can be scary being in a new place with new people and other dogs. I’m very good at reading body language and understanding animals, I’ve had the nickname “Dr. Doolittle” for years as a joke. I’m open for full communication and am obsessed with pet photography so be prepared to get an overload of pictures and videos sent to you of your pal while you’re away!
