Pet care experience
My family raised litters of puppies growing up. Coming home from school at ages as young as 6 years old, I would walk into a home with as many as a 12 labrador puppies (+ our 2-3 full grown labs) at a time. I helped my mother with cleaning them, cleaning their messes, and watching them carefully when we took them outside to begin potty training. Once I was older, I began professionally dog walking and pet sitting. In high school, I had 3 families whose pets I consistently cared for, sometimes for weeks at a time while they were on vacation, in addition to simultaneously caring for my 3 dogs and 1 cat at home. Caring for pets has been an integral part of my life for (literally) as long as I can remember.
Reviews
I was very pleased with Brooke’s care for my 3 dogs, 2 of whom are seniors and a bit skittish of people they don’t know. Brooke was able to gain their trust and took excellent care of all my fur babies. She took long walks with them and they loved it. She also provided photos and frequent updates. Definitely recommend her; Tysm Brooke!
Once again, Brooke always comes through at the last minute. She is always wonderful with my two pups who just adore her. She sends videos and pictures reassurung me that I can have faith in the great care she takes with my babies. I recommend Brooke highly for dog sitting.
Brooke did a wonderful job for us! We had some unexpected and special circumstances that she worked hard to accommodate. She was loving and caring with our pet, going out of her way to be sure she ate and felt safe. I recommend her whole heartedly and without reservation. We have already arranged to have Brooke help us during our next trip.
Brooke stayed at our house with our two dogs for four nights and also did some additional dog walks on other days. She took out the recycle and trash for us. She was great. Lots of photos and regular updates on how they were doing. You could tell from our meet and greet that the dogs loved her. I will use her again and highly recommend her to others.

I pay great attention to how long their usual walk is, how often they need to spend time outside, how much food they are to be given and at what times of day. The comfort of the pet (and thereby the owner) is my absolute top priority.

I would love to know the dog’s usual routine so that I can abide by it for as seamless a transition of care as possible. It is so important to me that the dog always feels comfortable and cared for. Please also let me know how the dog reacts to other animals and how comfortable you are with us traveling (for example, to a dog park) or if you would prefer for us to stay local. Any medication or unique needs is information I will likewise need to know ahead of time!
A typical day
I love to take puppers to the park! We play fetch, chase, tug of war, and explore all of the new smells in the area.

Availability
I typically work 16-25 hours/week in Columbia, MD. My schedule ranges from morning shifts to evening shifts, though rarely both in the same day. This leaves me plenty of time to care for fur babies either in the morning or evening, and always overnight!
