Pet care experience
I have been petsitting regularly for about a year now and have had the privilege of caring for just about every pet across the spectrum. My own pets are my main source of experience as they have put me through A LOT. I had cats and snakes mostly up until getting my first dog, Pinky at 13, her puppy phase was the worst since she’s a smaller than average chihuahua with an even smaller bladder. Then came Spike, and a couple years after him, Moose. Both are higher energy breeds so I learned lots from dealing with their antics and it has come in handy when caring for other pups. In addition to Moose being INSANE as a puppy he was also very sick so I am good at dealing with weird stains in carpet as well as medication administration. I also have two cats one being Bubba, who was feral until she decided not to be and Yoshi who is… orange. Between them and the pets I have had the pleasure of looking after my stomach is now almost as strong as my love of dogs and I will gladly let your 150 pound mastiff sit in my lap as I call him a little baby. Seniors and higher energy dogs are always welcome as they are my favorite because I am that type of crazy. My work schedule is pretty flexible and can work with a variety of pets and their unique needs. I try to never leave any dogs in my care alone for more than 4 hours but for animals who need a bit more attention such as smaller or older dogs I work my schedule out to be around more often. Some dogs aren’t fans of the fact that I’m not a morning person but they usually know how to get me out of bed in time for breakfast! I am very serious about safety when it comes to my pets and especially pets I am trusted with, especially when it comes to the specific threats this area can bring to your babies. Cats allowed outside will always be brought in before dark (coyotes) even if it keeps me up all night. Dogs will be supervised outside, get plenty of water, and never spend too long out during the hotter parts of the day, and I change clothes and shoes as much as possible between contact with different animals to prevent the spread of disease.
Reviews
Came home to poop and pee, our dog had no water and was left alone for over 14 hours.
Our dog was left alone for over 12 hours during this stay
We have used Brooke several times and never had any issues initially. However, on the last 3 stays she has watched our dog there has been accidents. We came home to poop and pee accidents which we thought was odd since our dog is 6 years old. I asked if he was sick during the stay and she said no until I mentioned the accidents. She then revealed that he had another poop accident in the house during the stay. The next stay he tore up decor and was let on our furniture and the final stay I came home to another pee accident. After checking our security system I realized our dog was left alone has been left alone 12-14 hours at times during these last 3 stays.
Unfortunately came home to quite a few pee and poo messes.

Information Brooke W. would like to know about your pet
The biggest thing I would like to know about a dog is what their daily routine usually looks like and when they exercise and eat to ease anxiety a dog may feel when their human is gone. I would also like to know how a dog is around strange people, dogs, and cats for the safety of the dog and others, and of course I need to know about dietary restrictions, medications, and anything medical that may come up during my time with your pup.
A typical day
I love taking dogs to parks and other places where they can experience their favorite sights, smells, and make friends if they are into that kind of thing. I also love to play ball and frisbee with dogs I care for in a grassy area where they can run off leash, even if it is a fenced in yard.
