Pet care experience
I have been caring for dogs and cats since I was a kid...I can remember at least 45 of those years, lol. I've had 1-6 animals almost my entire life. I worked professionally at The Olde Towne Pet Resort in Springfield, VA for 6.5yrs in every department: Pet Care (boarding: 180 dog suites, 40 cat suites,) to Doggy Day Camp, Bathing & Grooming, Basic Obedience & Agility Training, & Guest Services. I have experience with all sizes, breeds, & behaviors. I can administer topical, oral, & injectable medications/supplements. I monitor behaviors and look for things abnormal to ensure the safety of your pets because it truly is all about them. I promise to treat them like my own. I also volunteered at the local shelter, Shenandoah Valley Animal Services Center, in Lyndhurst, VA for 2yrs. Last but definitely not least, I created a dog food company in VA: Long Ride Dawg Food that is focused on sustainable health through nutrition. It is safe for cats too! Message me for more info. I am writing to highly recommend Brooke as a very responsible and dedicated pet sitter, dog walker, and all around animal lover! Over the past several years she helped take care of our beloved Bella and Rocco (blond labs) with exceptional professionalism and a true genuine love for animals. Brooke consistently demonstrated reliability and attentiveness. Our sweet pups just adored her and would literally cry for her. She always goes above and beyond...and willing to give expert advice where needed. They were always so happy to see Brooke which speaks volumes about the bond they formed. We call Brooke “The Dog Whisperer”. Our crazy high energy Lab, Rosie, came home tuckered out after she was with Brooke, and much to our surprise, learned great manners from their time together - bonus! Brooke is professional and possesses knowledge in all aspects of care. She has years of experience working with and caring for all types and temperaments of dogs. Her bond and love for dogs is apparent within the first few minutes they are together. We trust Brooke in our home and with any of our dogs. We highly recommend Brooke!
Brooke and I worked together managing a pet resort-boarding, day care and grooming facility. In her role as Pet Care Director, she and her team cared for many pets entrusted in our care for appointments, daycare and boarding. Brooke is knowledgeable and tuned into pet needs. As a multi-pet owner herself, she is more than qualified to care for your pets just as if you were caring for them.

Brooke has spent many many years, professionally, caring for dogs and cats so she comes with a wealth of experience. Not only does she have her own dogs and cats, but she has pet sat for my dogs on many occasions and I always know they are safe and happy in her care. Brooke understands that each pet is unique in their own way and has their own individual needs that need to be met. Whether your pet needs lots of exercise, attention, discipline, and/or games to play, or they need lots of snuggles and love, Brooke is your girl!
