What Brooke would like to know about your dog

Pals & Pooches..
Welcome all Breeds!

Thank you for reaching out to your best investment. I'm thrilled to be part of the Rover Community here in Cobb, Paulding, and Bartow County.

The only way there would be multiple dogs is for an overnight stay However would be separated from my own pets within the home.

Being that I do not have a fenced yard the owner would have to give consent in order to follow the local leash law here at my private resisence in Paulding.

Otherwise there would be no introduction between two different dogs from different families.

When bringing a pet into a new or social environment, health/safety and liability is top priority. With this being said distance, composure, and proactivity are key by following simple commands and continuous obediance training with confidence and all while using your own human instincts.

I understand friendly and dominant behaviors in which warning signs can range anywhere from tucked ears, tail, to rissen fur/hair and snarl/growling- teeth showing. Others include tendencies such as heavy panting, foaming at the mouth, and uncontrollable urination. These stress signals can all be prevented none the less as redirected energy and attention.

As far as feeding protocols, comes another significant responsibility in conjunction with health and safety. To ensure proper and successful completion of tasks and duties- instructions will be provided, per owner- to perform that would be designed specifically for that particular family's canines. It's common that dogs or food bowls be seperated or served at or between different times.

Being that communication is crucial to comfort and well being, there would always be updates available if allowed through request during the visits. If for instance a pup became stressed it would be imperative to remove the source of the stigma. This is why getting to know your client and become aqainted with the dog is important to efficiently provide quality assurance and solutions before any of these occurances or in case of any special needs.

Once basic needs have been established without further improvement within a timely manner- the owner would then become updated with a call, text and photo description of such a scenario with immediate questions to follow. If there is no way to get in touch with an owner.. The animal would need to receive medical attention from a local certified veterinarian; Also, upon agreeance prior to departures or finalizations in which may already involve their own designated vet.

If you have any questions or concerns, we'll work together to make it happen and I totally look forward to this motivating experience!

Thanks and Best Regards,

Brooke Jean McAfee
