I have had a passion for animals my entire life; I have been a dog walker for 11 years! My passion for animals has led me on many amazing journeys in my life. I began volunteering at a young age with the SPCA and with the a therapeutic horseback riding center. I was later employed to continue my journey with this program for 5 years by taking care of the 14 beautiful horses who reside there (another passion of mine is horseback riding). I left this position in order to pursue an internship with Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom (a dream come true)! I have my Master's in Social Work with a concentration in Animal Assisted Therapy and I have also become certified as an Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning. On a personal note, my family adopted my first pet, a 4 month old kitten that I named Noodles, when I was 9 years old. During that time period, we had also adopted a beautiful Shetland Sheepdog puppy named, Chip. I currently have a 4 year old mutt named Wes, that we rescued as a puppy. Even though he is a slender 50 pounds, he thinks that he is a lap dog. He also enjoys sitting on the couch like a person and running faster than any other dog at the dog park. All of my animals have been the center of my life and that is why I love taking care of other people’s animals. They bring us so much joy in life that I love giving it right back to them! I treat every animal as if they are my own!
