Pet care experience
I have provided in-house care for multiple cats with positive reviews; and a 13 month old standard poodle which I house sat for six weeks. I have experience walking and caring for multiple animals in a household while following instructions and giving updates. I am also very organized with my routine and can be hired for a longer period of time. I am first aid/ CPR qualified and I have experience training young adult dogs. I am able to watch all ages and types of pets as long as I am provided clear instructions and have a trusting relationship with owner and pet alike. I am a compassionate individual who wants to help out and spend time with animals, Rover allows me to do this as a service and I am readily available for you to talk about what you need from me!

Brooke K is a perfect person for anyone who needs both a house sitter and someone to care for your pets. She spent a little over a month with my dog, a large very friendly standard poodle and my black cat Pepper. Other pet sitters resulted in the cat leaving the premise until I returned. The fact that he would return every morning when Brooke called him, testifies to her loving, gentle care of him. My dog did flips whenever Brooke showed up. No wonder..he went on runs with her and received more play time than he does with me. And my home was left in perfect condition. All the plants were happy and I didn't have to go looking for any kitchen equipment. As a young woman studying at OSU, Brooke K is a bright, upbeat and highly responsible person. She will go far in life and was a pleasure to get to know and befriend.

In Granville I have a yard to walk the dog and can go down the street to Wild Wood Park. There is a nearby bike path I can access by walking from my home and I enjoy exploring metro parks with fur friends and I can easily travel for the best care and adventure your animal deserves!
Information Brooke K. would like to know about your pet
It is important for me to know how the dog behaves around cats and people. I can usually gauge the personality of an animal by spending time with him/her, but the owner knows best and any behavioral problems or just strange unexpected personality traits is good to know as someone taking care of your animal. Other valuable information includes: fear of cars or specific looking people (older, female, male, etc.) and details on feeding- how many times per day, how much, and if they should be supervised or left alone. I also have no breed preferences and I can handle large adult dogs just fine. I also would like to give the animal treats for good behavior and so that they will listen to me when we go for walks. As a sitter, it is important for me to stay healthy and limit my exposure for illness, I understand that we are all under extreme circumstances and knowing past health history is important for me, and everyone.
A typical day
While in my care, a dog can expect to go for long walks (possibly runs) through nature preserves and conservation sites. Also, I enjoy walking around my neighborhood and have a 0.75 meter loop that animals enjoy. I also enjoy relaxing and will read outside while a dog can sit beside me (on a leash if necessary) and soak in the rays! I will brush and make sure that if hiking and in the woods, there are no ticks or mats on the dog because that is always a risk in the wild.

I am a student at Ohio state University and I have a part time job as a student assistant, meaning my schedule is flexible and I am able to balance multiple commitments while having ample time to watch your bestfriend! Due to COVID-19 I am finishing the semester online and from my home in Granville, OH. I have plenty of time to walk and play with your animals and I am more than happy to do so!
