I grew up with a West Highland Terrier. I didn’t appreciate how much having a dog meant to me until he passed in January 2022 and I didn’t have him bringing me gifts when I got home from school or work and being greeted with tail wags - dogs just make the day better! :) I started fostering dogs in 2023 when I moved to New Orleans. Most of mine were larger and we went on 2-3 walks a day for roughly 2-3 miles total. I love the routine of getting up early and spending time exploring new places with a buddy and just being outside. We also had lots of play time and zoomies at home and occasionally at the dog park or large grassy area! Along with activity my responsibilities were to learn more about the dogs personality, give baths/medications/clean ears/clip nails and teach some basic commands. I now have a 6 month old mini Aussiedoodle puppy who is my favorite little guy! We go on lots of morning walks, to the dog park and restaurants. I just recently moved to Denver and love how dog friendly the city is. Otis will be joining me on lots more adventures and would love to take your pup along!
