Pet care experience
Hello! I am a passionate proponent of the Fear Free Pets model for human-animal interactions. In their certification program they explain in detail what most of us discover naturally: that dogs respond well to respectful treatment, and their aggression usually masks fear or stress. Meanwhile, even the most well-behaved dogs are still vulnerable to separation anxiety. I am not a trainer, but I bring years of experience to create the calm pups need in order to self-soothe.

Brooke took good care of our pets especially our dog. She took him to the park and took videos of him having fun. She was proactive in checking in and was on time. She responded right away and I didn’t have to worry. Our house was just as clean as when we left it. I appreciate her professionalism and care. I would recommend her and plan to contact her again on the future.

Brooke was great with my nervous girl! It was such a relief to know she was doing well and happy and to get little videos of my dog having fun on walks or the dog park, or wagging her tail while laying on her back on the couch. 100% would (and already have) recommend Brooke as a dog sitter, and would absolutely book her again.

For housesitting assignments, I maintain established meal and walk schedules. I can bring in the mail, water plants and make sure you return to your home just as you left it. I bring my own pillow, towel and food. On walks, I am present with your pet. The only time my phone is out is in order to snap a picture for the Rover report card.
