I have a passion for dogs and I want to do something with them for a summer job. I’m a college student so my hours over the summer are very flexible because I don’t have class. I’ve been dog sitting around my neighborhood and for friends off and on since I was 13. I’ve also had dogs my whole life. My family currently has 2 senior dogs, both with pretty severe arthritis and one of them is nearly deaf. I also have a 2 year old, very energetic Border Collie mix so I know how to deal with lots of energy as well as senior dogs. Because I have older dogs I’m very experienced when it comes to giving oral medications. My border collie mix is also very resistant to taking medicine so I’ve had to be creative and figure out ways to make her take what she needs to.
