Pet care experience
I have recently returned to Maine from living in New Zealand and I’m looking to earn some extra money by caring for friendly animals/dogs of any breed or size. For three years, I’ve been offering pet care services, both In New Zealand and in Maine. My family and I have owned/fostered dogs my entire life and I have experience with all types of dogs big or small. I am available during the weekdays/weekends, have my own car, and are highly flexible with schedules within moderation. My backyard is very spacious and fully fenced. I live close to local parks and beaches. I enjoy spending time outdoors or hanging out at home so if your dog is highly active or a couch potato both of those types works for me!

Brooke was a huge help when I was traveling through the area for work and needed my pup to have some fun while I went to the meeting. She got along great with her dad's golden retriever, Kai, and was super responsive to my questions before the stay. Will definitely reach back out if I'm traveling through Portland again!

We needed someone to watch Chief
We were in a pinch, needing someone to get on board walking our dog ASAP, and Brook came through with flying colors. Our Westie Harry took to her right away and eagerly went off for their walks together. Brook is not only reliable but able to accomodate both the dog's and family's needs. She is the first person we've hired on Rover and the only one we'll be using as long as she is available.

I look after your pets as if they were my own. If your pet is staying with me, I make sure the introductions to my golden retriever Kai are safe. I have a fully fenced backyard and will be home the whole time while offering doggy daycare services

Before caring for the dog I would prefer to know if the dog was potty trained, shy around certain people, and/or pulled on the leash. I don't typically have any breed preferences unless the dog is over 60lbs and pulls on the leash due to my petite size and strength.
A typical day
I live close to a walking trail, the beach, and a park so any outdoor activities would take place. My dog Kai has lots of energy and is super friendly so he’ll play with your dog if he wants to

I’m currently working part-time up to 30 hours a week so my schedule is pretty flexible. Depending on the day and the service I’m usually available.
