Pet care experience
I have done childcare for over 20 years, and now I want to focus on homeschooling my kids. Pet care is a natural fit for our family as we have had a dog and a cat for 15 + years. I will offer daily and weekend (Thursday to Sunday)overnight stays, and will make sure your dog gets enough exercise. Meals will be in the morning (at about 8am), and evening (at about 5pm). We live on a large tract of land, over 8 acres, with a large outdoor kennel (10ft x 25ft). It has a portion of artificial turf, and is in the shade. We can brush your dog if you would like. A synopsis of your dogs likes and dislikes is helpful, as well their daily routine. Open communication is our specialty and we will daily send you photos and updates of your pet, to keep you connected. We own a labrador, and love him to bits!! We moved from MN to NC in August 2022, and have a large piece of land for exercise, close to the beach (mins by car) and parks for walks. **If you need a longer stay it can be arranged**

I am also an excellent communicator and would appreciate plenty of communication, if I left my furbaby with a sitter. :) Looking forward to being a home away from home for your furbabies.

I have a 54 lb labrador, who loves to play. Please let me know if your dog is aggressive, as I will have to take this under consideration. I will only take on a giant dog if he is not aggressive and crate trained for overnights. Please make sure to let me know if your dog is not neutred or spay, and is up to date with all their vaccinations.
A typical day
We will go on walks at the beach (mins from our property by car),and my yard is big and spacious, so we can play fetch in the yard too. There is a neighborhood 1 min away by car that I walk my dog, and park 8 mins away too. We will love and cuddle with your dog, and definitely give them hugs and kisses. Our labrador is an extrovert and enjoys making new friends. Our labrador is an indoor/outdoor dog and then sleeps in his kennel at night. That would be the routine for a visitor too....play, go for walks on my property, the local park, or the beach. Meals in the morning and evening, bedtime by 10 pm. I know how much I love my dog, and am careful with who I Ieave him with; I would want you to know that your dog will be loved and cared for while they visit with us. I will send pics daily, as well as communication via text.

Availability
I homeschool my kids. One is older and needs guidance only, the other two are 10 and 13. Pet care is perfect, as homeschooling is flexible, and my kids love animals too.
