Pet care experience
From the age of 5 I had a boy’s best friend and more with my black lab named Max. My fondest memories as a kid were shared with that loveable lab! To fill Max’s BIG void my family found a feisty German Shepard, Husky, and Pit Bull mix rescue puppy named Diva. She was a diva through and through much to her pre-existing name’s suggestion. Unfortunately, within two years, she would pass unexpectedly from Lymphoma. Currently, my girlfriend and I have been blessed to rescue a pup from Tennessee that we named Maya. I am also currently attending LECOM Elmira, which leaves me with a relatively flexible schedule. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends! Thank you

For older, smaller, or dogs requiring any special accommodations please let me know of their typical activity duration/distance so I can plan accordingly. Also, I’m open to trying out any routes your dog may enjoy taking!
A typical day
I spend most of my day studying and I am always excited for an excuse to get some fresh air and stretch my legs. My current dog isn't very fond of fetch although I grew up with a lab that would retrieve anything all day - so if your dog loves fetch as much as I miss a partner then I think we might be in business! In September of 2021 I completed my first marathon and although I'm not too sure if I'd ever want to do it again, I still stay in shape well enough to keep up with any dogs requiring a running companion.

Availability
I am currently a medical school student so my schedule can be dynamic and flexible. I am happy to accommodate schedules as I understand life can be a little crazy at times. I am always happy to communicate regarding adjusting rates and durations depending on you and your pet’s particular needs. For instance, if you are in need of someone to quickly feed or let out your 4-legged friend, I would be happy to adjust to a lower rate than what is currently listed.
