Our dog Pepper LOVES having friends over! We have a beautiful fenced in back yard, making play time in and out of the house easy and fun. For the past 4 years, we both worked together in NC as foster parents. We moved back to Lynchburg last summer and are now both teachers. My school is very close to our home, so I’m able to swing by during lunch breaks to let out dogs for potty breaks. I’m also completely available on the weekends and would be home all day to watch your pup. One of the best parts about choosing our home is that your dog will have a friend to hang out with at all times. Our dog Pepper loves making friends, running around in the backyard, and sharing her toys. Before coming to our home for a stay, we would prefer to schedule a meet-and-greet to make sure your pup is a good fit for our home, and that the dogs interact well together. Brittni and Marc met with me a couple of times to help my dogs get through the initial gitters with meeting their dog, Pepper. Consequently, the drop-off went really well and all three dogs were playing nicely before I left. They have a nice room for setting-up crates and their house seems very dog friendly. For the first couple of days after I returned, my dogs were heading for the front door so I could take them back to play with Pepper. That says a lot about the quality of their stay. I will definitely ask Brittni and Marc to keep my dogs in the future.

Mocha had a blast with Brittani, Marc, and Pepper. This was her second stay and definitely won't be her last - we know she is in good hands with them when we are away, and don't have to constantly worry. There's always great communication.
I’m SO GRATEFUL for Brittni watching my pup! She sends photos and videos and updates and I was just thrilled with her kindness. I highly recommend, and will be for sure booking more stay with her in the near future!

When your dog stays with us, we take several precautions to keep everyone safe: - Dogs are always fed separately to keep meal time safe. - All dogs are either crated or separated if we need to run a quick errand or leave the house for any reason. - All dogs should have a collar with an I.D. tag. - Before booking with us, know we may have up to 4 dogs at a time in our home. It’s ideal your pup plays well with, and is okay being around other dogs. - We closely supervise play between dogs of different sizes and dogs from different households. My husband and I are very active people and love to go on walks and trails. If your dog loves to hike, we can take them on a stroll. We live very close to several parks (The Lynchburg Dog Park is a 5 minute drive), and our neighborhood has sidewalks for walking as well.

My husband and I are very active people and love to go on walks and trails. If your dog loves to hike, we can take them on a stroll. We live very close to several parks (The Lynchburg Dog Park is a 5 minute drive), and our neighborhood has sidewalks for walking as well.
