My family has always owned dogs, and I've been largely responsible for their care since I was a kid. I have house-sat for family/friends with dogs, which included administering medicine and exercising them. I've worked with dogs from very young and hyper to very old. I taught our basset hound basic commands like sit, stay, come. I've volunteered at shelters to walk and play with dogs. I currently have one dog of my own living here, and he loves the chance to make new friends. I do work weird schedules. Usually it's 8-4, but sometimes I'll work an early morning or late evening shift. Just shoot me a message and we can discuss availability. My fiancé lives at the house and we work fairly different hours. So even if I am gone for eight hours, there's a good chance he will be around all day or there will be a gap of four hours were neither of us are.
