Hi there! My name is Brittney and I’d love to care for your four-legged family members. I’m 26 years old, entirely work from home, and work through Rover on the side. I love Rover because getting paid to spend quality time with animals is the dream! I currently have one 2 year old girl named Lazuli (Zuli for short) who is a min-pin mix. She is full of energy and does best with other dogs who love to play, but gets along with chill dogs too and accommodations can always be made to keep them more separated if your pet prefers to be left alone. Your dog will always be in great care with me, as I’m a very cautious and responsible person that pays great attention to detail, organization, and will strictly follow whatever procedures you expect of me. Knowing the worry that can come along with trusting someone else with your furry babies, your pet’s comfort/safety/happiness and your satisfaction are my biggest priorities.

My apartment has a securely fenced dog park that is almost always vacant. Other dog owners in the apartment complex typically take turns using it, so your pet would have it entirely to his or her self! (with my supervision, of course)

I would like to know if there is anything your pets may be afraid of or sensitive to so I can be better prepared to watch out for these things. I would like an idea of their temperament with other dogs and people, so I know what may be a bad situation for your pup, or someone else's pup/children to be in. I would like to know their feeding schedules, peeing schedules, if they use a crate, where they typically sleep, if they have any medical needs/allergies, and anything else you think is important for me to know to properly and smoothly care for your pet.
A typical day
My apartment is a safe, fenced community where we can go on walks without being on main roads. The dog park is a great place for them to run around off-leash. There is a private (almost always empty) dog park right here in my apartment complex if you’d prefer they aren’t exposed to other animals. I have plenty of toys we can play with. I have one bathtub that is specifically used to bathe my pets. My pets enjoy people/bird/squirrel-watching with me on my balcony (on leash!) if you are comfortable with that. I typically avoid hiking trails due to ticks, but I am open to any suggestions you have and going out of my way to learn your routines and the activities your pets typically enjoy.

Availability
I do have a 9-6 full-time job on the weekdays, but could still do morning, lunchtime, and evening visits away from the home - or watch your pets in my home anytime. Working from home and having a flexible schedule allows me the extra time and freedom to be present with your pets all day without needing to leave them home alone. Weekends are much more flexible for visits out of my home, as they are typically free for me.
