I have professional and personal experience with animals, especially dogs and cats. I worked for a boarding kennel for 3 years, and a veterinary hostpital for 6 months. I am in school majoring in wildlife biology. Animals are my passion. I have one healthy, friendly, well-mannered Doberman named Hank. He loves company of any sort, and makes fast friends with dogs (even the little guys!) I have a very large, completely fenced-in backyard that will allow for plenty of excersise. We go on at least 2 walks per day that are a mile long or more. Basic training and behavioral issues can be addressed during the day, or in separate sessions. I ALWAYS focus on reward-based training systems, never punishment. I have class on Tuesday and Thursday, and will be out of the house for approximately 3 hours straight. Other than that, your kiddos will not be left home alone for more than an hour at a time. Trips to the park and other outings are another fun activity that happens at least once a week. Special arrangements for any activities can be accommodated. I can provide pick up and delivery, or you may drop off at my house. Please make sure your pets are on heartworm, flea, tick, and other worm preventatives. Also, I require records for up to date rabies and distemper/parvo vaccinations. This is for the protection of your pup!!
