I have taken care of what feels like a zoo of animals while growing up. I have owned and raised dogs since I was born. Fifteen years of loving doggies! I currently have three dogs. Mushu is my pug who I rescued in 2013 when I was 15. She is now 12 and has been through a lot. Five years ago she had a stroke, but she made it and I now do whatever I can to make sure she is comfortable. My other dogs are named Groot, Olive, and Sadie. I rescued Groot almost two years ago, and I say that he is the world’s best chiweenie. Olive is my youngest dog, and she is the cutest Aussidor who I called my little raptor. Sadie is a little rascal sometimes, but loves to settle down and cuddle near your neck. I bathe all of my dogs and trim their nails regularly. Groot grows long fur through his little toe beans and I make sure the keep that trimmed. All of my dogs get their ears cleaned, so I am comfortable with doing that and if your furbaby has wrinkles I got that down too! I have owned cats for 5 years. I wasn’t allowed to have them growing up because I’m allergic to cats, but I wanted one sooo bad. One day, in a Target parking lot, I found a box with an abandoned kitten in it. I snatched that girl up so quick. Zellie, is now my queen and the best chonk. My love for cats overcame my allergies and I now have two more rescue cats, Lilly, Lou Lou. I have a veterinarian assistant certification from Lake-Sumter State College, and I am trained in dog CPR. I work from home doing property management for my grandmother’s rentals, which surround my home. This means I am home all day every day with my babies and hopefully yours! Being home gives me the flexibility to dedicate all of my days to my animals and any furbabies we have with us. Any phone calls or computer work I have are done when everyone takes naps. When they get up, it’s right back to playing and cuddles. I have 1 acre of fenced in yard that I allow my dogs to run around in while supervised. I have a dog door that I will only keep open when I know I can monitor whether they go outside or not. I am respectful of any set routines that others have for their animals and make sure that said routines are followed. I am very big on kisses and cuddles in my home, and I have plenty of love to give any animal. I also make hydration a priority, and keep multiple stainless steel water fountains in the house so everyone can drink water when they need it.
