Hello! My name is Brittney and there’s a really great chance that I would love to watch your pets. I've been pet sitting for over ten years for friends, family, and others who have come to me from recommendations. I've had many repeat clients whom I have watched their animals in their home and have yet to receive any complaints. I’m very patient and have yet to meet an animal that I couldn’t befriend. I have experience with various sized dogs, multiple pets per household, dogs with seizure disorders, separation anxiety, dogs, cats, and small animals requiring oral medication, and elderly pets. I have also cared for a variety of birds, fish, guinea pigs, mice, hamsters, degus, chinchillas, and even a hermit crab. I genuinely enjoy meeting all sorts of creatures and I treat the animals I care for as if they were my own. If you have an animal other than a cat or dog in your home that needs watched, I’m most likely willing to care for them as well. Most of my work has consisted of overnight care in the owner’s home. In addition to caring for your pets, I’m also able and willing to water plants, bring in mail/packages, and just watch over the house. I always leave the home as it was when I arrived. Currently I have two small dogs, two cats, and a cockatiel. My dogs are very friendly, playful, and tolerant of other dogs. They have never had an issue with any dog that has been boarded with me. I also live with my niece and nephews, ages four, ten, and thirteen. It’s very important that any dog that may want to stay with us loves other dogs and kids. If your dog is friendly and stays with me, they’ll be taken in like one of my own. They’re welcome to join in the snuggle pile and sleep on my bed, run in the fenced yard with my pups, etc. I do ask that you provide a crate for your dog and whatever food they prefer. Although I am home most of the time, in the event that I would need to leave for a bit, it’s good for your dog to have a safe space to be. I live very close to Gettysburg. So, in the event you happen to be in town and want to go visit the battlegrounds and shops, I could look after your pup while you do so for a few hours.
