My friendly lab/greyhound mix, Maggie and I love making friends. This is strictly for fun for us. We love going to the dog beach, parks, bicycle rides, and playing sports. We take adventures at least twice a week and would be happy to accommodate one more! I would like to do a meet and greet beforehand if your schedule permits. As you can tell from our profile, we love taking pictures and will send you many plus videos if you would like while you're suffering the time away. I ask that your furry friend is dog friendly, vaccinated, trained, and clean. Maggie is spayed and all up to date on her vaccinations. I have lots of experience with dog training and have been in situations where humans need to intervene to calm the environment so I am very comfortable with all breeds, I have some dog training courses in my background. I did some job shadowing at a Veterinary Clinic in Alabama as this was my major for a brief period. Working with dogs is my dream but to pay the bills I work from home on the computer all days with exception to the weekends, I am gone around 6 hours on weekend days only. I have a large sun room I watch the dogs from if I am not outside with them, they are let in after an hour at the most to cool down and re-hydrate. Your dog will get plenty of exercise with Maggie so I ensure they take plenty of breaks to be cautious of over heating. I used to have a pit bull before Maggie who was also very friendly and loved making friends. I keep a safe environment with all food and chemicals kept out of reach. Maggie is not food aggressive but I separate at feeding time as a precaution. Our typical day is breakfast around 8-9 am, play and potty outside with breaks 9-11 am, nap time and cool off 12-2 pm, afternoon activity if you permit 5-7 pm (usually walking to local park, going to dog park, bike ride, or beach swim), dinner 7-8 pm, then potty and night time play 9-10 pm. Sometimes I will give a treat before bed with peanut butter and kong if you permit, usually winds them down for full night rest. I sleep with my door open and have two dog beds to give our house guest the option of jumping in my bed with us, sleeping in one of the dog beds, or sleeping on the cool tile floor.
