Pet care experience
I've taken care of different types of animals almost my entire life. I grew up with two dogs, three cats, a bearded dragon, a leopard gecko, a pair of gerbils, a hognose snake, a pair of lovebirds, and I took horse riding lessons for a few years. There are no species I'm not comfortable learning to work with! I've raised two wonderful dogs from puppyhood and am well versed in both the struggles and the joys of puppy training. I've also taken care of several senior dogs and cats and given them as much love as possible while they lived out their golden years. I've always loved going on adventures with dogs and spoiling pets of every type and I'm looking forward to spoiling yours too!

You can leave your pets with me in confidence knowing that I'll be with them 24/7. I work from a laptop and will not need to leave them at any point throughout the week. I only work with one client at a time, so your pets will always have my full attention. I am trained in both dog and cat first aid and bring a pet first aid kit with me to every booking. I've also studied the psychology and body language for dogs and cats and am comfortable working with a variety of personalities and behaviors!

- It's important that I know the age and energy level of your pets ahead of time so I know what sorts of activities to plan. - I need to know if your pets have any allergies or medical issues. - I need to know if your pets have any behavioral issues. I'm willing to work with behavioral issues, but I need to know ahead of time so I can plan the safest and best care routine for your specific situation. (Bite histories, destructive tendencies, problems with car rides, questionable bathroom habits, etc.)
A typical day
I love to go on walks, cuddle, play training games, and give animals all of the love they deserve. Since every pet is different, what we end up doing depends on what your specific pet needs! We may go walking, hiking, and exploring if you have a dog that loves adventure. If your pet is more of a homebody, I will stay home with them 24/7 and do everything I can to keep them comfortable, confident, and happy while you're away. We may play brain games like hiding treats and sniffing them out, we may play fetch, we may play tug, or even play chase! We may just spend the whole time cuddling and hanging out if that's what your pet enjoys. It all depends on what activities make your pet the happiest!

Availability
When you book your pets with me, the schedule will be catered to their specific needs. If you have a cuddly couch potato who loves to nap, then I'll make sure their time with me is as calm and relaxing as possible. If your dog loves adventure, then we'll be going on long walks, exploring parks, and possibly hiking on the weekends (with your permission!). Whether your furry family loves napping, hiking, or anything in between, they'll always have the attention and love they deserve while they're in my care.
