I personally have two cats of my own that I’ve had for 10 years. I started dog sitting for family 7 years ago and have been a regular dog sitter for a close friend for the past 4 years. I regularly watch two bigger dogs at once and always stay over night with them. My duties while watching these dogs include walking, feeding and giving medications when needed.

I have known Brittany my entire life and have always known her to be wonderful with animals. I myself have a yellow Labrador who she absolutely adores. She is always so kind and sincere and takes my dogs feelings into consideration when visiting. All animals can tell when people are dog people or not and my dog definitely knows he’s in for a treat (PUNN intended) when she is around. Brittany has babysat her friends dogs multiple times overnight, along with talking them for several walks and have heard nothing but wonderful things. Her dogs are always excited when they known aunt Brittany is coming. I would highly recommend Brittany for any pet needs.

While watching dogs in a clients home I take dogs for walks, soak up all the dog snuggles and clean up after myself as well as the dogs. I’m very respectful of the owners wishes and treat their pet and home as if they were my own.

I prefer to know if a clients dog has any issues with other dogs. Generally I keep the dog I’m watching away from others dog to be on the safe side while on walks. I prefer to know any special care dogs may need and the specifics for feeding before hand to ensure I care for your dog to the best of my ability.
A typical day
Generally I will walk dogs around their neighborhood so they are familiar with where they are. If the owner is comfortable with allowing me to take their pet somewhere I could take them on the rail trail or to a park. Otherwise I enjoy playing with them outside at their home.

Availability
I currently work Full time Monday-Friday until about 5:30 pm but I do get out of work early on Fridays around 2:30 pm. I occasionally work a side job on Sunday mornings until 1:30 at the latest. Generally I’m available on weekends starting on Friday evenings-Sunday afternoons.
