First of all, I am grateful to be here. I joined Rover just for fun. I love love love dogs! I really enjoy the qualities each breed carries. I want to spend time with them all! Unfortunately, I have had a couple of my own pass on the past couple years, but I thought what better way to share my love than love on other peoples' dogs? I do still have 3 of my own whom I love dearly, but the more the merrier, right? My husband and I are business owners and work from home the majority of the time. We have infertility issues, which caused us to discover our love for dogs. Our dogs are very friendly and love others. I do have extra crates if you prefer your dog to sleep in one for overnights or if they are crated when no one is home. I do try to follow your at home care, so if they sleep with you- they’ll probably be sleeping with me. 😅 We have a fairly large home for your dog to roam in as well as a pretty good size fenced yard. I will gladly send you pics and updates throughout their stay/visit. I'm obsessed with my own dogs, so I'm guessing you may be, too. Don’t worry about bringing any toys or treats for their stay unless you just want to. We have plenty of toys and treats to share. I will try my best to obey any rules you have for your dogs in your home so they don’t come back acting crazy. Let me help give you peace of mind while your away. Your babies will be loved as if they are our own. Can’t wait to meet you guys! Just to update and tell you a feel good story, my husband and I were able to adopt (a human this time)! Our son (Knox) is 8 months old and loves dogs just as much as us. Although he isn’t at the age of messing with any of the dogs, he will be taught manners and won’t be allowed to sit on any dogs, pull ears, etc. Plenty of Rover dogs have gotten to meet and love him! He will never be around any of the dogs without supervision. Update to the update 🥰 Knox is now 3yrs old and loves to run and play with all size dogs. The only dogs who worry me are the ones who will nip if he even gets near. If your dog hates kids- this isn’t the place for them. I am roughly 2yrs in to doing Rover now. I have realized I have a special place in my heart for older dogs and special needs dogs. Know that they will be well loved and taken care of in our home. Scheduled meds/ feedings are no problem at all. I actually have one who is diabetic myself and on insulin injections. I work from home so I can feed on schedule daily and live right beside a park so walks are easy to do whenever needed. I have several gates to separate out if needed, they are allowed on furniture but I will obey your rules so they don’t return with bad behaviors. I separate out for all feedings.
