I can’t imagine my life without pets and don’t really understand people who live without them. I currently have two cats and a snake and I love them all. Beyond my own pets, I started pet sitting for friends and family while in college and then that expanded to pet sitting as a side business through word of mouth and the internet. I have experience with medications, injections and doggy wheelchairs. (Special needs pets are a passion of mine, I have two myself and used to care for a diabetic cat.) I have taken care of dogs, cats, horses, reptiles and even birds a time or two. I have a fenced in backyard but also like to go on frequent dog walks to explore the neighborhood. If your dog doesn’t get along with cats, we are able to keep them safely separated but we request prior notice if there has been prior issues. Safety first! Dogs are allowed on the furniture if they’re allowed on the furniture at home. If they’re not, we keep them off so they don’t learn any bad habits. As much as is possible, I treat your dogs as my own while they’re with me.
