Pet care experience
Because I was home-schooled, I had a lot of free time as a child, much of which was spent with animals. I started out as a cat lover (I still am!), but a few adorably sloppy kisses from relatives' pooches soon turned me into a canine lover as well. While my cousins were at school, I would feed, walk, and clean up after their puppies. In my teens, I babysat my aunts' dogs: Snubbles, a Maltese-mix; Hope, a Beagle-mix; and Skip, a Lhasa. In my adult life, I've babysat a Dachshund named Ira. (Fun fact: Ira stands for I Require Attention :) ) I provide hands-on care to keep your pet safe and happy. Under my supervision, your dog will enjoy plenty of affection, exercise, and playtime with their favorite toys. I will maintain a dog-proof environment, because your dog's health and safety are my top priorities. This means I'll keep items like rubber bands, grapes, and chargers far out of reach. I read up and watch videos on pet care regularly--knowledge is power! My Rover profile was inactive for a few years because of my work schedule. But now I'm back, and I look forward to meeting you and your pet!

I'll give your pets plenty of cuddles and undivided attention, plus we'll play games with their fave toys. If I notice any signs of illness (like excessive thirst or a warm nose), I'll let you know right away. I'd be happy to send you photos from dog walks and drop-in visits. (Note: I keep phone use during walks to a bare minimum, so I can stay aware of my surroundings.) If I need to use a cleaning product, it's going to be a pet-safe one.

What times does he or she normally "potty like a rock star"? 3. Your dog's likes and dislikes. For example, what's your dog's favorite toy? Is he or she afraid of butterflies? 4. How outgoing is your doggy? Does s/he like for strangers to pet him/her on the street? Does s/he get along with other dogs? 5. Any personality quirks? For example, my cousin's dog Cookie growls if you stop petting her when she still wants attention.
A typical day
We'll take strolls in Hudson River Park, and upon your request/approval, visit dog parks. We'll roll balls and toss around squeaky toys. Plus plenty of petting and cuddles!

Availability
I'm a model, primarily for fashion design schools in NYC. On some days during the school year, my bookings end by 1pm, which means I'll have afternoons and evenings to spend with your floof baby. On other days, I'll have 3-4 hours during the afternoon. Now that it's summer, I have increased availability.
