Home with large fenced yard!

Pet care experience

I love my fur babies! My husband and I have 2 fur babies of our own, Gunner is chocolate lab mix and Sulley is a black lab mix and both are rescues from Texas. Like typical millennials we purchased our home with our pups at the forefront of our decision. If we could we would have 100 acres and bring home every abandoned fur baby to join our family. We have a safe, friendly and loving home that puts dogs at the center because why not! Nobody loves you like a dog loves you! We typically show our dogs love with belly rubs, butt scratches, dog park parades and of course doggie gold...treats of all kinds! If we make bacon, they get a slice. If we make pancakes, they get a mini one. If there’s fries left over, you betcha! We saved them for the pups. Of course, you gotta give some to get some, so they do have quite a few tricks up their sleeves as we do believe in consistent and obedient training. But 85% of the time big puppy eyes and a soft sigh will also work 😅. Our yard is fenced with multiple gates to prevent them from walking themselves. There is an auto water bowl to ensure there is always fresh water. In the event we need to step away from the home they do have private access to the garage (heated in the winter and naturally cool in the summer) where they will find multiple dog beds and places of leisure. We have several security cameras so they can always be monitored for safety and neighbors that are like family in case of an emergency. When you leave your babies in our care we will treat them like our own... unless requested otherwise. They are allowed to get on the furniture, enter and exit the house at their will and decide when it’s play time and when it’s nap time. Needless to say they pretty much run the house. 99% of the time I require a M&G on property so they have a good first experience with their parents present. This typically makes for a less stressful drop off and understanding of the land when the fun officially begins. I ask that parents always bring “items of comfort” for their stay as being in a strangers home can be stressful. If they have a favorite blanket, toy or routine such as kenneling at night please do plan to bring it for their staycation. Trust me, it’s better to bring it and not use it, then to not have it at all. If you have any questions feel free to reach out!

Brittany is amazing! Ellie absolutely loves her and gets so excited to go to her house for stays. She provides daily updates and videos and is extremely responsive. We had a family emergency and needed to find Ellie a sitter ASAP and she welcomed her with open arms immediately. I cannot recommend her enough!

I recently went out of town for a couple weeks. Brittany was the first sitter I came across and wanted to meet. I was a nervous wreck because this was also the first time leaving my pup

We had a great experience with Brittany! She was very responsive and attentive and sent tons of pictures and updates while we were away. Ellie loved her time with Brittany and her two dogs! Highly recommended!

Brittany and her husband were fantastic! She kept us updated daily with pictures and messages, letting us know that things were going well. Both Red and Tex’s needs were taken care of, and they got along excellently with their Gunner, and both came home tired and happy. Will definitely be rebooking in the future. Can’t say enough good things about this experience.
