**Not currently accepting requests for clients in Oregon** I have experience caring for puppies, dogs, kittens, cats, chickens, rabbits and parrots - all at the same time. Whew! Of my own currently, I have 3 dogs, 3 cats, 3 chickens and a rabbit. All medium to large size dogs, two of which are herding breeds (Collie and Border Collie) so I’m conscious of the kind of energy they can exude and exercise that they need. One of our dogs has lupus and I have experience giving her the medication that she needs. I have experience giving cats and kittens medications as well. I have experience caring for all above listed animals post spay/neuter or surgery as well. 2 of our chickens are Rhode Island Red laying hens, the other is a Novogen and our rabbit is a Dutch. Every one of our animals are rescues or have been taken in as strays so I have the experience and patience going into the unknown with animals. It has been an absolute blessing watching our animals thrive under the correct conditions. Included in drop-in visits, I will let the animal outside to relieve themselves and am able to make sure the animal(s) have food and water or feed if applicable. If for cats: food, water and a litter scooping if needed. Play time for each, loves and positives affirmations to get them through the rest of their day. Included in walks, I am able to provide them with a minimum of a mile/30 min total time together walk - whichever comes first (sometimes lots of smells present themselves and pupper must stop). If owner approved off-leash and a nearby enclosed dog park presents itself, ball or fetch is always an option. Included in the walk is the obvious of picking up after the animal and disposing of their waste. (I have three dogs, I have poop bags stashed everywhere). A safe return home and of course some head scratchies to see them off with. Unless you have multiple dogs in your own household, I will only ever walk one animal at a time. To me, the animal deserves that level of care and attention. It makes their walk safer, as well as mine. As a stay-at-home mom of one, I have a pretty wide open schedule with very limited responsibilities or prior engagements of my own. It is very easy to adapt my schedule to your needs. To be transparent, I do homeschool our 13 year old daughter and she would more than likely be present at the time of services and join us on our walks. Because we home school by choice, we do have that kind of flexibility. I say this openly because I know the struggles that sometimes come with trying to find the right fit for your crew. A lot of the times when I’ve tried to find sitters for ours, it seemed nobody was available between the hours of 7a-7p due to day jobs. I do not have that (a day job) but I do have an extension of myself whom loves animals just as much as I and if anything you will be receiving two for the price of one! None of my animals will ever be present while caring for or walking yours, however I’m sure I smell delightful with all of my own animals scents and the pocket of treats I tend to have on me!
