Pet care experience
I've cared for dogs and cats for the past five years, ranging from one ten year old great Dane to three active mixed breed rescues. Friends, family, and clients have relied on me to not only feed, walk, and keep their post clean, but also engage in active play to keep stress to a minimum and follow extensive medical needs (post op meds and bandage changes, multiple supplements throughout the day).
Reviews
Brittany is dependable and caring. We’re always grateful that she takes such good care of our cats!
Friendly and reliable!
Brittany took very good care of our kitty during our 2 weeks vacation. She was always very responsive to our requests, behaving very reliably and resourcefully at all times. She kept sending us updates and lots of pics of our kitty's daily routine, making us feel almost at home. For sure we would definitely book with her again :)
Brittany was wonderful, attentive and communicative while watching our 2 cats. We will definitely hire her again in the future!

I live in an apartment so to make up for lack of yard I take my own dog for long walks daily, around campus or for hikes in the woods when it's not as muddy. I take hourly bathroom breaks when feasible and play with all dogs as much as humanly possible, because who can resist the dropping of a toy at your feet? Any special diet or medical needs are attended to and I check specific needs multiple times a day to ensure that everything is followed precisely.

Information Brittany S. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any special needs or a strict schedule-Copper and I are very flexible, and we both adapt well to longer or shorter walks as needed and different feeding schedules. If you're dog is on medications I will need to know if there are any specific timing needs, as I do have courses throughout the week and need to make sure that I wouldn't be late giving medicine because of classes. Otherwise, we're good to go!
A typical day
After waking up, I typically take my dog (Copper) and any furry guests for a short walk around the neighborhood before breakfast. I usually have a few projects for grad school to work on, but midday it's time for a potty break, a snack, and playtime-fetch, tug of war, or wrestling. After classes and/or more writing, we typically go for a long walk around campus (he loves watching the squirrels and smelling all of the flowers!) or, if it's not at muddy, a hike along the Ridges trails or Sells park. After the evening walk, it's dinner time, usually followed by a nap. Some late evening play rounds out the day before bed.

Availability
I'm currently a graduate student so my schedule is busy but flexible most days for drop in visits and walks. Unfortunately I am no longer able to board in my own apartment after moving to campus (I can still watch them in your home, though!).
