I've been around dogs on and off almost my entire life, and I had the privilege of owning a Labrador Retriever for about ten years. When friends and neighbors went on vacations, they often asked me to look after their pets, and I always enjoyed the opportunity to love and care for my furry friends! While I'm mostly experienced with dogs, I also enjoy cats. Since I currently work from home, I'm almost always available. I prefer to communicate via text rather than phone call, but either will work as long as you notify me in advance that you will be calling my cell. My rates for drop-in visits and walks apply to those who live within a ten-mile radius, but I'm willing to travel further if properly compensated, especially for overnight requests. If you have questions about this, please feel free to ask! I plan to discuss and negotiate price with every client once they have told me their specific needs to avoid confusion and meet the financial needs of my clients. For oral medication, I am generally accustomed to placing pills in the pet's food or giving it with a treat, but I can administer oral medication in other ways if you show me your usual method. If you require a service I have not listed here, please let me know, as I am eager to assist you in any way I can. For clients who desire house sitting services, I would be more than happy to do things such as water your plants, bring in your mail, and ensure that the trash is taken to the curb. While I would prefer not to stay in your home overnight unless you are a repeat customer, this may be negotiable. I am more than happy to discuss a price for remaining in your home for extended periods of time during the day (exactly like doggy daycare, just in your home instead of mine, not simply 30 minute drop-in visits) and/or to tuck your pets in for the night and return the next morning.
