Pet care experience
Hey guys! My name is Brittany and I am 24 years old. I am the Queen of Clean! Dishes, floors, laundry and even bathrooms – I do it all and absolutely love it. I am a tremendous housekeeper and overall just love what I do. I believe there is no task too big or too small. Dependable, honest and meticulous are all words that I would use to describe myself. I take so much pride in everything that I do in life. I am the BIGGEST animal lover and have experience in pet sitting, house sitting, boarding, drop in visits, as well as walking.. caring for your furry friends no matter what the task is will be 100% under control. I will leave your home sparkling and I promise not to disappoint! I am a very easy going person who has always gotten great satisfaction from helping others and making people happy! If i can make your life just a little bit easier it absolutely makes my day. The joy that comes from seeing happy customers (and hopefully new friends!!) at the end of the day makes it all worth while! :) I have loved, cared for and been around a multitude of animals my entire life! As a child, there was never a time that we didn't have a family pet and animals have always sort of been a comfort for me. I believe that every animal, just like every person has their own personality and character that is so much fun to get to know and love! Your animals will be cared for in the same way that I would care for my family **(as well as having endless amounts of cuddles, exercise and playtime :)** I know personally, when I'm feeling down, or when I need a pick-me-up, I know that my little fur baby is right there beside me! It brings me so much joy being able to care for other furry children, or to help someone else.. it definitely helps to keep me occupied and to keep my mind off of things and to just have a little fun! I also realize how hard it is when you can't take your animals with you in certain situations and how hard it can be to find someone responsible enough to take them on and to trust that the person is going to care for them in the same way that you do, they are not just your best friend, they are your family too and they deserve nothing less than to be loved and cared for in the best way possible!! All of that being said.. I promise, I guarantee you that your fur babies will ALWAYS be kept safe and happy when they are with me, I promise that they will be cared for in the same way that I would and I know that you would care for any other one of your family members! It has always and will always bring me happiness caring for all of our fur babies of all shapes and sizes! I love every minute that I am around pets and have enjoyed every time I have had and will continue to have taking care of others' pets. I want nothing more than to care for your furry friends in the best way possible and to have loads of fun along the way!! :) It would be a pleasure and such a great privilege to help you!! :D

I can't say enough about how wonderful Brittany is! My husband and I had a change of plans at the last minute and couldn't take our dog, Verdell, with us on our trip. After carefully reviewing sitters, I contacted Brittany. She was responsive, warm and accommodating. She agreed to a meet and greet days before our trip. I was a little nervous because this was the first time having someone house sit Verdell. Usually we board him, but he's had health issues and become more anxious being away from home. Brittany couldn't have been a more perfect sitter. She kept him on his schedule, gave him his meds, was attentive to his needs and sent me daily updates and photos. I could tell by the pictures that Verdell hadn't missed a beat! I could relax and enjoy our trip because I knew she was taking good care of him. When we got back, he wasn't shaking like he usually does when we're away from him. I even learned how much Verdell likes to be snuggled with blankets in his bed from her! As if taking good care of my sweet baby wasn't enough, we came home to a clean house! How amazing is that?! Brittany is an absolute gem. My husband and I will definitely be repeat customers! Brittany is awesome! She worked with us on short notice when we had a long weekend trip and our other plans fell through. Our 3 pups can be a handful and she was very receptive to them and my wife and I's needs. We had her house sit for us and the icing on the cake was coming home to an extremely clean house, that made my wife super happy. We will definitely being calling Brittany for all of our future engagements, she is AWESOME!
Brittany is a wonderful person and did great with both of our dogs, Dude and Prozac. Prozac suffers from separation anxiety and when we dropped them off at Brittany's for the weekend he quickly relaxed. We were able to see this by all of the pictures that she sent us throughout the weekend. Not only did she send us pictures but she constantly updated us on how both of our boys were doing. This made our time away easy on us because we did not have to worry about them at a kennel and knew that Brittany was taking care of them as well as we would. I highly recommend booking with Brittany and we will without a doubt be asking Brittany to watch our boys in the future.
I've known Brittany for a few years now and I can't say enough good things about her, we met through mutual friends before she had to move away. Although it wasn't through Rover, she would regularly take care of my Toy Poodle Abby a few days a week while I was at work. (I worked overnights) Or if I had to travel. Before I met Brittany, Abby had only ever stayed with my Mother or Brother as she has severe separation anxiety and can't be left alone.. which made it very difficult for traveling or working if neither of them were available at the times that I needed. From the get-go it was very easy for me to trust Brittany, she was always very professional and organized. She paid attention to all the details and you can definitely tell that she has taken care of her fair share of fur babies!! She would always send me pictures and videos while I was away so I never felt like I was missing out on any moments, I always felt involved! If I ever had any questions or concerns while I was away, she was always there and I knew that I could count on her to get back to me within minutes. She took such great care of Abby that she never wanted to leave! At the time, Brittany had a Pittbull/Mastiff mix named Achilles that Abby also just adored and loved to play with that they became the greatest of friends! There was never a doubt in my mind when it came to dropping off my Abby that she would be in the greatest hands. Especially traveling, I could always enjoy my trips without having worry in the back of my mind. I hope Brittany has the pleasure of helping out anyone else that needs care for their fur children in the future, I know couldn't have asked for anyone better! :)

Before agreeing to a stay I do require a meet and greet with the pet owners and I do ask a multitude of questions just to ensure that I have the best understanding possible and to be able to offer the best care possible for your furry friends, as well as ensuring a safe, fun stay. *Do your animals suffer from separation anxiety? If so, how do you go about soothing them? *Do your animals suffer from any health issues such as Arthritis, Allergies.. Short nose breathing problems.. *Do your animals require any types of medication? If so, I'll need to know their schedule and normal routine for administration. *What is their normal routine for outings/walks? Do they have any tenancies I would need to know about? EX: Pulling/Tugging.. Problems with smaller dogs? *Are you able to provide a harness and or lease for all animals during their stay? *Do they have any type of food/toy aggression? *What is their feeding schedule/potty schedule? *What are their favorite toys/games? *Do they have any special quirks that are normal for them that I should know about? EX" Funny noises. *What is their normal bed-time and where do they normally sleep? *How are they rewarded/disciplined for good/bad behavior? *What kind of treats do you give them? How much? *Any other behaviors that I need to know about? EX: Chewing on objects/digging in the trash? *Any other information that I need to know that we didn't cover?
A typical day
I have so many dog/walking parks just a short 5-10 minutes from my apartment. I love going for runs and to just take in all of the beauty that the parks have to offer, and your furry friends will be there right beside me along for the ride! Or, if the weather is not so nice or your animals have specific needs to where their health does not allow being outside for long periods of time.. we can still have all the fun in the world inside playing tug or war, fetch or just wrestling around! With me having the opportunity to work and enjoy my school work from home, they will definitely benefit from all the extra, love, cuddles and affection!! You're furry friends will definitely be nice and tired from all the playtime and exercise that they will receive with me!! :) In the event of a stay, please be sure to bring any toys/beds/blankets that they use on a regular basis as having those items helps to ensure that they not only feel more at home but comfortable as well! During the stay I will also send you loads of updates and pictures along the way not only for that piece of mind.. but also because who doesn't love all the funny, quirky pictures that we capture of our pets?? :)
