What a terrible experience. A lot of confusion with the comunication with the sitter too. I originally booked for 3 nights and was told by the sitter it was just going to be my dog and her 2 small dogs. At arrival we see that she also had a cat. My dog has been around cats and never had any problems with it. The meet and greet with her dogs went excellent too. But the following morning I woke up to a text saying my dog was being aggressive to the other dogs and she had errands to run and couldn't leave the dog alone since she was being aggressive. So I proceeded to call the sitter and she was driving cause I could here her gps in the backround. I thought she couldn't leave the dog alone, but she did? She told me my dog tried killing her cat, which I do not believe at all because my dog has no history what so ever with aggression. The sitter agreed to drop her off at a boarding near by that I had to call to arrange with since we aren't in town. The whole situation was very overwhelming. She later proceeded to chamge the days of booking and tried to charge me for an extra day and said "Rover is difficult with those things". I decided to just deal with the the Safety and Trust team from Rover and luckiky they were able to work with me to handle the situation. I understand things may not work out, but when the nanny is telling me one thing and then doing the opposite, makes me doubt if her story was real at all.
