Brittany did a great job taking care of our cat. She was friendly and easy to communicate with, and sent us regular updates and pictures which was very nice.

Brittany was a fantastic sitter for our pup and made our first experience using Rover a breeze! She was incredibly attentive to our pet's needs and sent us lots of updates to assure us that he was doing well. We would highly recommend Brittany and would certainly rebook with her in the future.

Hello! I just moved back to Philly after spending a year down in the suburbs of DC. I work and live in the city giving me flexibility in my schedule to help take care of animals near by. While I have never personally owned a dog, I have always had roommates with dogs who I helped care for. A lot of people ask me why I do not get a dog of my own when ...

What Brittany would like to know about your dog

Their name would be a great start :). In all honesty, temperament is obviously one of the most important things. I want to know how your dog is with strangers, are the possessive over things, and how are they with other dogs (IE. if we pass another dog on our walk will your dog be fine or should I cross the road/ stay away because they don’t do well with other dogs). Also, knowing just how well the dog walks on a leash. If you have a dog that pulls a lot on a leash I ask that you have a harness for them instead of just a leash on their collar, because I do not want the dog to have any harm caused to them if they get excited and pull too Hard.

When Brittany watches your pet

Depending on the neighborhood, i will take the dog on walks either through the neighborhood or if there is a near by park/ area with trails there. I would want to find out about the dogs personality, age, and activity level before taking the dog out of their neighborhood first though. Don’t want to put them in any situation where they may feel stressed/ uncomfortable.
