Pet care experience
I’ve always had a heart for animals which led me to pursue pet sitting and become a pet mom myself. I understand the importance of caring for one’s fur baby while you’re away. I will treat yours as if they’re my own! I have a 2 year old Brittany named Fermie and a 4 year old cat named Ginger. I have experience with caring for sick animals, animals with specific health needs and very active pets. I’ve also dog sat multiple dogs at a time of varying breeds and sizes. I’m good at juggling needs of multiple pets!! I do it every day in my own home.

Brittany is an extremely detailed and through person who enjoys working with our Boxer “Zeus”. She house and dog sits while we vacation multiple times. Each session lasting from 2-9 days have yielded excellent work with our home in better shape than we left it. Upon our return Zeus is happy and sad to see her departure. We could not ever ask for a more loving, knowledgeable, and dependable person to care for our pet and home in our absence.

I’m open to having your pet in my home or coming to your’s. I have an average sized fenced in back yard and my dog Fermie would make a very well socialized Companion for your dog while you’re away! They’ll have a blast! I also like making home made treats for my dog which I’ll gladly do for yours.

How active is your dog, health issues, dietary issues, how well do they walk on a leash, are they house trained, how often do they go outside, do they get along well with other dogs.
A typical day
My dog is pretty active so I’m aware of all the local parks and spots for hiking. I’m open to taking your active dog for a hike or a fun walk at the park. I have a New Albany dog park membership and I’m happy to take your dog there or wherever your dog is a member at. I’ll also play with your dog. Tug of war, frisbee, and chuck it are my specialties. I have games that challenge dogs mentally with treat motivation also.

Availability
Currently I work full time and I work a hybrid schedule meaning I’m expected to go into the office two days a week. I’m hoping to go back to school this summer so I’m exploring Rover as an option to potentially have a more flexible schedule.
