I have been a pet-parent of cats for over 19 years (most of my life), and had been a loyal volunteer for the Pitt Co. Animal Shelter and Humane Society of Eastern NC for 2 years taking care of both cats and dogs. I am able to administer oral medications and have a passion for activity enrichment for cats, dogs, and other household pets.

Brittany was extremely thorough in our meet and greet with becoming familiar with all the steps of taking care of my cat to minimize any potential hiccups during her visit. She completed all of the tasks I requested and even sent me a couple of pictures of my extremely shy cat. Her passion and love of animals is evident and I will certainly be reaching out to Brittany when I need pet sitting again.
Brittany’s communication was excellent and I felt very comfortable entrusting my kitties in her care. After a key mishap (100% on my part!) she was flexible and accommodating, and made herself available to come over on a different day. Thanks Brittany!! The cats were very happy and healthy when I got back.

Brittany was awesome! First time trying this was a little nervous but love getting updates from our dog and have that peace of mind that she was ok. She definitely knows how to take care of dogs . Looking forward to next time!

I am not able to house animals in my own home due to my two kitties and dog, but I am more than happy to accommodate at home visits and strolls along the neighborhood! My house has a fence as well, so I can always bring your pup home with me for the day and play in the yard (with my dog if social, or alone if need be). My sweet Annie also adores other dogs, so I can also bring her as an extra buddy to help with socialization!

A typical day
I have background in animal psychology and have certificates in Animal Behavior and Husbandry, so animal enrichment activities are important to me and how I care for animals. With dogs specifically, I enjoy creating new and mind-provoking activities to stimulate the senses and the mind. I have access to miles of sidewalks where I live as well as a dog park nearby, so the possibilities for walking are endless. I also live close to several parks in the area and enjoy hiking, so we will get a great workout with lots of sights to see!

Availability
I work full time Monday-Friday, but I am able to drop in either 6:00am and/or after 6:00pm during weekdays, and available on the weekends. However, if I am unavailable, my calendar will be up to date. Thanks!
