Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Brittany! Please feel free to check out my instagram @doggonegoodtimes to see some of my tail waggin’ friends and all the hair raising highjinx they get into! Newly moved to Florida with my fiancé, Seth. I work part time, so I am away only 20-25 hours a week (usually about 5 hours in one day), but I come home on my lunch breaks to relieve the pups and check in on them. Sadly I had to leave all my furry friends on Oahu behind, but am eager to make new ones here in Jax! I'm a huge animal lover and have grown up around them my whole life. This is a family FUN house, so I encourage and facilitate play time and out door exercises as much as possible! Some days we’ll go on a nice long nature walk (kitty can too! I have a little bubble backpack and kitty harness/leash for our more adventurous felines), sometimes we may pop into the beach, most days we’ll just have fun playing ball in the back yard or have a lazy day snuggled on the couch. I'm very flexible when it comes to the care of your dog and/or cat and am willing to accommodate their needs to the best of my ability. I’m experienced with basic house breaking/training, exposure therapy, and even senior health care. I have extensive experience with all kinds of dogs (AND CATS! There’s even a special feline room all to themselves in our newly purchased home) and their specific needs, so fret not, I have all the bases covered! Please feel free to message me if you’d like to schedule a meet and greet or set up a booking. I can't wait to meet you all!

Murphee had a great time with Brittany. She was very patient and knowledgeable about senior care. I absolutely recommend her!
Moe came back home happy! She sent lots of photos and was very nice! Will use again
Happy Dog, great environment for my pup. Well loved. Got lots of update pics to see what she was up to. Thanks Brittany
I was referred to this app by a coworker as a first time user I am extremely pleased I had to leave town on short notice and she was quick to respond and she sent me pictures and video updates through out the day and treated my baby like her own with so much love I am forever grateful she definitely gets a 5 star rating from me and I’ll most definitely be using her again

We *just* purchased our home, so our fence is a work in progress (a privacy fence is on the foreseeable horizon), but we are a safety first/always leash up house hold. Your pet may be super well trained with you around, but I like to maintain the security and peace of mind of the always-leash-up policy while you’re away. With that said, we are also a free rage indoor household. I am more than willing to accommodate any specific training or routine needs necessary when it comes to kenneling or doggie bed use, but as a default our four legged friends have full access to our house and are treated as family here (meaning, unless otherwise dictated, they are allowed in all parts of the house and on most furniture). Please be sure to to discuss dietary restrictions, medications, or routine specifications PRIOR to their stay so I can best serve their needs in your absence.

Information Brittany M. would like to know about your pet
Do they get along well with other/new dogs/cats? Are they prone to barking/scratching? Are there any medications or special dietary needs they may need to keep on schedule? Are they 'chewers', 'diggers', 'clawers', or ‘nervous peers”? Are they FULLY house broken/litter trained? Are they socialized? Do they have severe separation anxiety? Are they known “bolters” (aka rush/run out the door at any sign of the door opening)? Are there any things that make them particularly anxious or triggered (fireworks, bike riders, skateboarders, male/female aggression, etc)? Being in a new, strange environment is a challenging thing for pets and all these questions will help me know and better understand your dog and/or cat and their specific needs and help me to accommodate the best environment in your absence.
A typical day
Plenty of belly rubs and ear scratches, of course! Throwing the ball/frisbee/mouse toy and making friends with other friendly pets at the local beach/parks. Catching some sun and surf or going on a local hike/nature walk is always a fun treat when the criteria permits. Healthy exercise on daily walks. Plenty of photos and updates on how your little buddy is doing while you’re away. And after a long day of fun activity, getting to come back home to decompress with a little grub and chill. *** For the laxed/introvert pet: I will give you as much (or as little) love and attention as your little furry heart desires! Laser pointers, chew toys, and cozy couch time is fully in store for you as well. Equal pet oppertunist! :3

Your cherished loved ones are my top priority! My honey works on aircrafts on NAS JAX and when he’s not working he is my partner in crime when it comes to giving these guys all the love and attention they need. We begin most days with breakfast (usually separated to avoid any unwanted food aggression) followed by an early morning walk, typically around the neighborhood. Depending on the pack size we may do it all together or take turns in smaller clusters. Next we do a little decompression/free play time where some of our older guys may take a little nap while the younger pups play a little tug-o-war. By mid afternoon we usually do another walk. This walk tends to be a little shorter depending on the temperature to avoid heat exhaustion. Treats and snacks are allotted generous throughout the day for good behavior, and sometimes even just because! Depending on the day’s schedule and how the pack vibe is, we may or may not do a field trip outing. Evening time we have at least one last walk after dinner and before bed time. We end the night with some goodnight belly rubs and snuggles before we tuck into our doggie beds. Rinse and repeat!
