Experienced, Eternal Dog Lover!

Pet care experience

Welcome to my page! My name is Muireann and it’s a pleasure to virtually meet you. I have been pet sitting from dogs and cats to horses and frogs for six years! Here are some of my credentials: I have a retired service dog whose training I was directly involved in with a qualified trainer, so I am very experienced with training and management of dog behaviors! I also have two years of experience managing reactive dogs both with leash reactivity and human reactivity, so “problem cases” are not problematic at all. Through my years of professional sitting I have become very familiar with medication management for young and elderly pets alike; syringe dosing, diabetic injections, pills, and more - I’ve done them all. I am also quite experienced with cats and exotic pets! My current roster of regular clients is almost entirely care of varying exercise needs and temperaments. I’m also happy to care for any exotic pets in the house while sitting!

Brittany is a unique creative pet sitter. She adores animals and does whatever necessary to meet the needs of each individual pet. If it’s a nervous pet then she’s calm and works at the pace that’s comfortable for them. If it’s an energetic pet then she comes up with creative ways to help work out their physical energy while also helping to work out their mental energy by building obstacle courses with everyday items. No matter the pet you can be guaranteed that each will be treated with love and kindness as if they were her own.

Brittany has taken excellent care of my 2 cats multiple times over the last few years. They love her. She is very punctual and communicative if questions arise. She was great about giving my older cat her medicine when she had a UTI and has even taken them to the vet when I mixed up appointment times. She has also dogs at for my extended family quite a few times, and is our families most trusted dog sitter. She does excellent with geriatric dogs and cats.

Safety, trust & environment

I have both a fenced side yard and a fenced front yard, and live two blocks from a giant park with a large section to run in on-leash. I can accommodate kenneling if needed, both of my dogs are kennel trained but no longer utilize them in house. I am also happy to go on hikes, runs, and more! In-home pet care is usually reserved for established clients but I’m always happy to discuss options.

Information Brittany M. would like to know about your pet

The more I can know about your dog the better. Triggers big and small, detailed instructions about reactivity, even treat preferences or food allergies! There is no shame in having a reactive, difficult, or finicky dog. I want to best serve you and your pup!

A typical day

Each dog has different play styles, energy levels, and tolerances! I have a small agility course in the yard to utilize, have gone on long walks, hikes of varying altitude and difficulty, frisbee, trick training, and more! I live two blocks from a large play field for recall training on a long lead, or scent training!
