I am an experienced veterinary technician and professional dog trainer (Speedway Dog Training.) My experience and compassion for animals allows me to offer your pets the best care possible. I offer a wide variety of pet services including but not limited to; playtime, medication administration (all forms), boarding and daycare in my own home, as well as training for you dog during boarding/daycare. I was a veterinary technician for four years, two of which have been spent in emergency medicine. I remain actively informed of medical and prescription information as it is released. I am very skilled in animal behavior, monitoring a variety of medical conditions, and caring for a variety of animals. Dog Training I offer dog training in your home through my company, Speedway Dog Training, but I will also provide training during boarding and daycare stays for an additional fee. You and I will meet to thoroughly discuss behavior goals and training plans. On and off leash training available. Why I love dog sitting I have always had pets in my family. I grew up with dogs, cats, fish, and exotics. As a child, I knew that I had a passion for animals and always wanted them to be a big part of my life. As a young adult, I began volunteering at my local animal shelter, walking and providing companionship for the dogs and being involved in many adoption events. I also began fostering because rescue is very important to me. While volunteering with the shelter and completing my college degree, I decided that I wanted to make a career of working with animals and began working at an animal hospital where I received hands on training to become a veterinary technician. I have now been a skilled veterinary technician for 4 years. This has given me the best experience with animals and I am able to show my compassion for them on a daily basis! My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering medications of all kinds. This includes injections, oral (liquid or tablet form), topical, ear/eye medications, administering subcutaneous fluids, etc.
