I am a longtime animal lover, foster volunteer and dog owner. I have aways had a dog in my household and played a significant part in caring for them. I adopted a senior foster dog about 8 years ago, but she has since passed. Not to brag, but she was one of the most obedient, well-behaved, happiest dogs I've ever met. I now share a 3 year old Rottweiler with my boyfriend and she’s pretty much our whole world lol. I recently moved to Roanoke and am in between jobs right now so for the time being I have a lot of free time on my hands. I am available to give your pet as much attention as they want/need. I’ll strive to make sure your dog stays as happy as possible during their time with me and do my best to keep them distracted from missing you while you're away. I will also make sure to keep in touch with you throughout their stay by sending pictures and other updates as much or as little as you’d like.

We were very pleased with Brittany's care of our Sunshine. She left notes with details related to feedings and walks, sent regular check-in notes, and asked questions if she was uncertain about anything. She also left our home clean. We would not hesitate to hire her again.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or requirements beforehand so I can be sure to accommodate them. I prefer dogs that are less aggressive, but as long as you tell me how to handle them, it shouldn’t be a problem.
A typical day
If you allow me to keep your pup, I promise they will get so much love and attention that they won't even miss you! Just tell me what you think your dog will enjoy and what you think will suit them best (for example, short walks might be better for senior or overweight dogs). I'm more than willing to do whatever I can accommodate any idiosyncrasies or special needs your pup has. We can discuss exactly what you'd like me to do with your pup during their stay prior to booking :)

My weekly schedule varies, but I’m available pretty much whenever as long as I have enough notice ahead of time. I can be flexible as well.
