Dog lover working from home that comes with a built in dog play buddy, River, a 5yr old Shih-Poo Cavalier mix who I've raised since he was a puppy. River is a sweet, playful pup who gets along with all pups and is the happiest dog you'll ever meet. He let's other dogs come to him first so they can get comfortable. I've grown up with/taking care of dogs all my life (I'm 40). I'm someone my friends trust to care for their pups. I recently moved to Springfield from 30+ minutes away and my prior frequent clients are still reliant on my services. So that goes to show that people are willing to still come to me as the only sitter their dogs trust and are comfortable with. Saying I am a dog lover is an understatement. I treat every dog like part of the family and always end up falling in love with them. I have a way of making even anxious dogs comfortable.

I have a fully fenced yard that is 6 feet tall, so no chance of your dog escaping unless you have a kangaroo. I always keep dogs on a leash when walking around the neighborhood, which is quiet with very little traffic and equipped with sidewalks. I keep dogs I watch as safe as I do my own dog. My house is fully dog proof because of having my own dog (e.g., no open trashcans and all people food and poisonous substances (e.g., cleaning supplies) are behind closed doors).

A typical day
Walks around the neighborhood. Playtime with my dog River. Playing fetch in the yard or in the huge basement when the weather isn't great. Snuggling Dog Massages Practice training

Availability
I work from home during the week. Weekends I may go to brunch or dinner with friends, so I can only board dogs on weekends that can be left alone for up to 6 hours at a time. I go to bed early, so boarding pickups must be before 8pm or an additional discounted (50% off) overnight charge/stay will be required with a pickup the following morning.
