Pet care experience
Dogs and cats have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in rural north Texas, my parents and I constantly took in unhoused animals who wandered to our doorstep. After the passing of my 15-year-old toy poodle, Toby, in 2018, I joined Rover as a sitter to regain the joy of interacting with animals.

Brittany was terrific watching Byron. She sent a lot of pictures of where they went and always kept me updated which was very reassuring. Will be asking her to watch Byron as we return to Austin. We highly recommend her!!!
Can’t say enough good things about Brittany! She is such a kind person and she took such good care of our two dogs while we were away for a long weekend. She gave us frequent updates and really accommodated our pups’ schedule and preferences. I am so grateful we were able to have her watch them. 10/10!!!

A typical day
I'm able to walk or run with your dog (depending on their fitness level). I prefer on-leash walks only with new animals. I generally do an evening weekday walk and occasional additional afternoon walks on weekends (weather permitting). If your pup needs more activity than this, please consider scheduling a dog walker/nanny/trainer to come by for extra exercise.

Availability
I work remotely for my full-time job, which is very convenient for pet sits. I will usually leave for a few hours in the evening to run or work out. Please know, while I am home most of the time and able to provide frequent potty breaks, I do occasionally have weekend social plans that can last 6-8hrs away from home.
