Pet care experience
I love animals, but dogs hold a special place in my heart. I love learning dogs' personalities and teaching them new things, while they probably teach me a few tricks, too! I have 14 years experience with having dogs, and currently have 2 -- a senior Aussie/Dingo mix with health issues (arthritis and allergies), and a husky. Due to some health issues, I was unable to continue working my retail job and so then, I threw myself into my care of my dogs. I love learning new, natural ways to help my old guy feel better with his joints, and in turn have learned a lot about dog nutrition in the process. My husky, who has moderate energy, keeps me on my toes and has taught me a lot of patience and made me put my mind (in a good way!) to work to keep up with him. I love my animals dearly, and I would love to be able to help others out with their care of their animals! I also enjoy pet photography, and am also snapping photos of my dogs in action. I would love to be able to take photos of some of the dogs I meet along the way! I am currently available throughout the week and weekends.

Brittany was awesome! Our dog, Indy, loved her right away. She was very attentive and easy to work with! She watched Indy for the night and stayed over. We definitely will use her again in the near future :)
Brittany was amazing with our overly fussy cat. Our cat, who doesn't take to strangers quickly, absolutely loved Brittany who only in a brief visit made us feel compleatly comfortable leaving her with the keys to our home. She sent pictures and kept in contact with us the whole while we were away. Brittany truly cares about animals and has a special connection with them. We will absolutely be contacting Brittany the next time we leave town!

I would like to know how your dog walks on a leash, if they have any food allergies, health concerns, how they are around other dogs, how they do around other people (for when we go on walks and if we should avoid walking on the same side of the road as others), and what their favorite toys and treats are!
A typical day
We will go on all of the walks! I am new to the area, so it will be an adventure finding and exploring new places to go. I would also love to help teach any neat tricks to any dogs willing to learn, as well! Taking photos is also something I love to do, especially of animals but specifically dogs. With permission, I would love to take photos of the dogs I care for while I am with them and share them with you, if you'd like!
