Pet care experience
**I DO NOT ACCEPT DOGS WHO ARE NOT POTTY TRAINED OR CRATE TRAINED** I'm a dog trainer who is also involved in the world of dog sports. I have a strong passion for animals and I revolve my life around them. I was a veterinary technician for 4 years before following my heart and switching careers to pursue my dream in dog training. I currently have three dogs, two of which are very active in the dog show and sport world. My dogs have achieved many titles across numerous venues and I am so proud of what we have accomplished together as a team. I am knowledgeable in caring for senior pets, especially since I am living with a senior dog myself. I feed dogs twice a day unless otherwise instructed, and I let them outside multiple times per day. Other than walking the dogs, I will also engage them in play and little mental stimulation sessions. If you would like to have some training sessions included then we can absolutely get a consultation scheduled. I have experience training puppies and adult dogs in basic obedience, advanced obedience, and certain problem areas like counter surfing, rushing out of thresholds, not recalling, and pulling on a leash. I have advanced knowledge on canine and feline nutrition, and I'm experienced with feeding raw or holistic diets if that's what you prefer. I love interacting with animals and making sure they get the proper exercise and mental stimulation they need on a daily basis. I also have experience with other animals such as birds, reptiles, exotics, and small mammals/rodents, so those won't be an issue for me and I won’t charge extra for their care. **For Dog Walking/Hiking** Currently, I am only offering to take dogs for a portion of the day to go out for hikes and to do training sessions (for an additional fee) if desired. Dogs must be crate trained as they will be crated in my vehicle while traveling to parks and trails to go hiking or engage in a training session. Dogs will not be entering my home or be exposed to my own dogs for safety purposes. If you have any questions please feel free to ask!

Our pets always feel so at home when Brittany is here to take care of them… they feel so relaxed with her and don’t seem to miss us much at all! And we feel so relaxed ourselves, knowing that our home and our pets are in such great care. All I need to know about a dog is gender, age, breed, any health or behavioral issues (i.e. food aggression, resource guarding), and if the dog needs any medication. I will happily accept any breed of dog and intact dogs.
A typical day

My life revolves around pets, whether it be training, housesitting, or daycare. I currently work part-time at a dog training facility and I fill my schedule up with caring for pets in between training days.
